Local boards and commissions are crying out for volunteers to serve on them. You can make a difference by applying to nonelective seat or by running for elective office. Serving in local office is one of the best ways to bring Green ideas to the public and to bring a Green groundswell home. It's time to be thinking about 2008 elections! Seats will be open at every level across the state, and there are numerous commissions needing people to serve. There's plenty to do, and plenty of need. Start your campaign planning today! It is essential that candidates work hand in hand with campaign managers, fundraisers, organizers, web designers, and volunteers. Campaign Schools The campaign schools are intensive workshops on running a successful campaign, and are held in different regions around the country.
